Julian and Nick have been working on this show for more years than they should probably admit!

With backgrounds outside musical theatre, the development of Dreaming In Colour has been a multi-year passion which has taken them on a journey of writing, rewriting and more rewriting!

The combination of Nick's brilliance with words, and Julian's love of all things musical theatre, has enabled us to develop what we believe is a fresh and bold musical perspective on one of the 20th century's greatest icons.

Julian and Nick previously collaborated on a gangland 1920s London musical in 2003 , Understanding Archie, which was performed by Worth School in Sussex.

Julian also writes choral music and the premiere of his Abbatial Requiem takes place in November 2026.
